About Me

I am an applied statistician and data scientist with expertise in Bayesian statistics, generalized linear mixed models, machine and deep learning, and the bioinformatics analysis of genomics, AAV evolution, and CRISPR editing data. Currently, I am bioinformatics scientist at the Department of Biosystems Science and Engineering at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETH Zurich). Previously, I was a post-doctoral researcher in computational biology working with Dr. Najafabadi in the Department of Human Genetics, McGill University/Génome Québec Innovation Centre and before moving to Canada, I was a research fellow in the lab of Dr. Pinello at the Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School. I received a PhD in Quantitative Psychology (statistics applied to modeling psychological and neuroimaging data), a masters degree in Mathematical Statistics, and a masters degree in Psychometrics from the Ohio State University.
