About Me

I am a statistical modeler and applied machine learning researcher with expertise in probabilistic, Bayesian, and latent variable modeling and their application to transcriptomics, epigenomics, and CRISPR data. Currently, I am a post-doctoral researcher in computational biology working with Dr. Najafabadi at the Computational and Statistical Genomics Lab in the Department of Human Genetics, McGill University/Génome Québec Innovation Centre. Before moving to Canada, I was a research fellow in the lab of Dr. Pinello at the Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School. I received a PhD in Quantitative Psychology (statistics applied to modeling psychological and neuroimaging data), a master's degree in Mathematical Statistics, and a masters degree in Psychometrics from the Ohio State University.
